One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to work on such fun websites with such amazing people! Small fry is a children’s lifestyle blog, but they wanted it to feel from the view of the child. This was hands down, a blast to work on. I loved how the logo turned out, and the accompying icons. It was so fun to work on my drawing skills! We wanted it to have a modern, clean, but hand drawn feel. I think we achieved that!
The site turned out really cute, with some really fun details:
Be sure to check out the awesome ladies behind it too, they are inspirational, and such wonderful mom’s. This post about their goals for small fry totally made me cry. Yay for the magic of childhood! It goes too fast!
Have I mentioned that I have been super, super busy trying to get everything designed and ready for Altitude Design Summit? It has been so much fun, and so wonderful to work with amazing women like Gabrielle Blair, Sara Urquhart, Liz Stanley, and Melanie Blodgett in the planning for this conference.
We have incredible speakers coming- I am most excited for Mondo from Project Runway (OH HEAVENS!!!), Joy Deangdeelert Cho (of Oh Joy), Marisa Haedike (of Creative Thursday), Alma Loveland (of Ollibird), and Sara Jane. These are all amazing designers who have each had quite a bit of success, and I hope to learn from them.
Anyhow, I just had to explain my absence… between Christmas Cards, normal design, and Alt…. I have been swamped.

I have been crazy hard at work to get my website off the ground.. and it is so close. Literally, I can feel it in my bones.
SO here’s to hoping that this week it will be launched! Also, I will be selling my stuff at Bijou later this month, huzzah!
