One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to work on such fun websites with such amazing people! Small fry is a children’s lifestyle blog, but they wanted it to feel from the view of the child. This was hands down, a blast to work on. I loved how the logo turned out, and the accompying icons. It was so fun to work on my drawing skills! We wanted it to have a modern, clean, but hand drawn feel. I think we achieved that!
The site turned out really cute, with some really fun details:
Be sure to check out the awesome ladies behind it too, they are inspirational, and such wonderful mom’s. This post about their goals for small fry totally made me cry. Yay for the magic of childhood! It goes too fast!
Today I am on Studio 5 to show a spring party that you can throw with your kids.
I find that as a mom, my parties have to be relaxed, easy and fun- and so I wanted to create a whole theme around that idea. In this collection that you can download there are:
1. Party invitations
2. Big & Small Eggs- for garlands, as activities at the party, for egg toppers, etc.
3. Cupcake Wrappers
4. Greeting Card & Place card
We threw a little Spring party, and it was so low key, relaxed and fun! You can do all of these projects- and they are SUPER easy. Print these out, watercolor them with your kids (there is no way to mess them up!) and have a blast!
Also, head on over to The Alison Show to see even more easter projects- and some adorable easter bunny cups we used at our party.
And thanks to Studio 5 for collaborating with me on this project- They are the best!
Ok! These are eggs that you can use for so many things- just as an activity at a party, or at home with your kids. There are small eggs, and big eggs in this download. You can leave it as is, or you can cut them out and make into a garland, or use as cupcake toppers- or whatever you can think of! Enjoy!

Download, print out, and watercolor in to make a fun little invitation for a spring party!

I still love cupcakes, and its fun to have this little holder to jazz them up a little bit. Print out some of those little eggs, put them on a toothpick, and you’ve got yourself some fancy schmancy desserts!

Who doesn’t love easter notes & place cards? Enjoy these on me!
You can use them as place cards for a meal, as food cards at a party, or a quick note to someone.
Also in this download: a free easter card with these eggs:

Lately I have been thinking a lot about life. On one hand I had some close friends lose loved ones, and on the other, many of my friends brought babies into the world, and I had little Adeline almost 7 weeks ago. (It has gone so fast! eek!)
This has really made me think a lot about life… how frail our existence is, and how quickly things can change. I know it’s cliche, but it’s made me think about taking the time to do the little things. It’s made me think about what type of life I am creating for myself, and for my family. It’s made me want to be a better mother, wife, friend, and person. It’s made me want to live, and to live my life filled with love.
And so to celebrate life–here is a print especially for you. Celebrate life, whatever stage you are in- and just LIVE, and fill your life with love.
I finished this project a few months ago, but let’s be honest- I have been on the fast track since beginning of November, and I feel like I am just now catching up.
I was able to re-design the Baby’s First Site for the Goldberger Dolls Company, and it was a blast working on, because wow does my little girl LOVE their dolls. Not only that, but they have such a whimsical style that was fun to work with. One of my favorite parts of my job is being able to design in so many different styles, and this website was truly a blast to work on.
and just so I can show you the before:
I love seeing how we were able to transform this old site into something clean, fresh, and vibrant.
Check out their site to see more of it (believe me, this is just a sampling. It was a big project!)
I am so sorry for the radio silence- things were so crazy before christmas, that taking off the 2 weeks for christmas was a necessary break.. and to be honest, I have had a hard time jumping back into the blogging world.
Part of that reason is that I have been soo busy with a lot going on here. Here is just some tiny snapshots of what I have been up to…
1. I finished up this 8 month project and launched this new designed website for Goldberger Dolls. I will post about the before and after later, and show more.. but it is so exciting to have it up!
2. Designed and finished up a logo for Adam Webb. I love how it turned out!
3. Been working like a crazy person on Altitude Design Summit. I have been designing posters, agenda, updating the website, newsletters… I don’t know- but it has been crazy. And I can barely contain my excitement for the conference!
4. Been designing fliers, newsletters, and a website for Gatehouse No1. We are hoping their NEW website can launch soon, and it is exciting to see how it is progressing!
5. Designed the January theme for KSL studio 5.
Anyways, there is a little of what I have been up to… I have even more projects I would love to unveil- but they are all pretty secretive.. but hopefully in the next few weeks I can spill some more!
