A little christmas cheer from the Burk clan to all of yours! Our christmas cards are all sent out, but as always- there are a few stragglers in the mail. Here is a digital version of it (it was folding, so kind of hard to re-create..) I hope your holidays are full of family, friends, happiness and love!
Alright- one more week left of Christmas Madness! For those of you who are still trying to work on christmas neighbor gifts- I have something I have created that will hopefully make your work a little easier!
I just added some holiday stickers to my shop here. You can purchase as a digital download, print out on sticker paper, cut out, and put on your goodie plates, or sparkling cider or wine bottles to give away. I gave away all of these this weekend, and this little something extra just really made things pop!
Each sticker set is $6.00, and you can print it out as many times as you want! (please just use for personal use.) I use a sticker paper that I bought, which has no lines or anything in it, so wherever I cut out, it makes the sticker.

Well, I have been busy getting ready for christmas here- wrapping gifts, baking treats, and trying to keep some semblance of order at my house. (I have failed miserably in that last point…)
I have been loving gift tags this year, It is such a fun touch! So as a christmas gift from me to all of my dear internet friends- Here is a simple red chevron tag you can use this holiday. It especially looks good with brown gift wrap and red yarn, which is my FAVORITE way to wrap gifts.

Exciting News! I am teaching a class on typography for Nicole’s Classes. It starts in January, and will be offered online. What do I teach in this class? Ohhh let me tell you!
Type is everywhere around us. How do you know good use of type vs. bad? What makes a font good or bad? What are the basic rules and guidelines of how to use type? How can you improve your own designs with typography?
What is the difference between serif, sans serif, and script? How do I use that knowledge to improve my designs? How do I pick good fonts?

It hasn’t snowed too much here, but I can’t say that I mind… the San Diego native that I am. Christmas to me will always be surfing at the beach! However, all of this wrapping paper excitement has gotten me motivated to get my act together and get all of my holiday shopping and neighbor gifts done. I spent a bit of time baking this weekend… whether or not these treats actually made it to planned neighbors is my little secret… but here are some tags I thought you might enjoy for neighbor gifts, or for anything else you are handing out!
